A whole world, lit from inside

Four dragons circling a cliffside castle, frozen mid-flight in crystal-clear resin. Switch it on and the scene lifts out of the dark — light pours up through the base, catches the wings, and throws colour across the wall behind it.

The story behind the scene

A dragon flight riding the thermals over a gorge at dusk. Two of them are still high and distant, a third is banking hard through the middle of the canyon, and the fourth has dropped almost to the rooftops — heading straight for the spired keep wedged into the rock at the base. A single dead tree clings to the ledge below. The light comes up out of the gorge itself, so the dragons are always lit from underneath, the way they would be by fire.

Unlike the rest of the shelf, this one is not a scene from a particular film or game — it is a piece of open high fantasy. It reads as the ten seconds before the flight reaches the keep. Whether that is a homecoming or a raid is left to whoever is looking at it.

How it's made

• Hand-poured epoxy resin over a solid wood base — each pour is slightly different, so the rock formations and colour bleed are unique to your piece
• Hand-painted figurines set inside the resin, sanded and polished to a glass finish
• 16-colour LED base with remote — warm white for reading, deep blue or violet for atmosphere, plus flash, strobe, fade and smooth modes
• USB powered — plug into any adapter, laptop or power bank

Specs

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight for long periods — UV can yellow any epoxy over time. Do not submerge. Keep away from heat sources.

Good to know

Because every piece is poured and finished by hand, small variations in the wood grain, resin colour and bubble pattern are normal — they are the mark of a handmade object, not a defect.
